Symphony: A Gorgeous and Innovative Cosmetic Clinic

Transforming the Traditional Clinic Experience

The interior design of Symphony embraces the plasticity of the body, incorporating both function and form in a simplistic yet gaudy manner. The imaginative and brightened field captivates visitors from the moment they step inside, embodying a deep-rooted care for the body. The space cleverly juxtaposes soft and hard materials, creating a harmonious balance under the apparent clearance of 4.2 meters.

One of the standout features of Symphony is the pacing of the lighting, which glows and darkens with a procession-like effect. As visitors move through the corridor, they are enveloped in dimmed light and a sense of careful privacy, enhancing the overall experience.

The unique chandeliers, handmade from dozens of copper tubes, serve as a focal point in the clinic. Other materials such as iron, wood, special paint, gold foil, marble, glass, wear-resistant flooring, and imported wallpaper have been meticulously chosen and tailored to complement each other, creating a cohesive and visually stunning environment.

Spanning an area of 330 square meters, Symphony is a testament to the seamless integration of design and technology. The designers collaborated closely with the owner, understanding their vision and incorporating elements from previous clinics. This synergy resulted in a space that not only meets the owner's specifications but also exceeds expectations.

The project, which began in April 2018 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, was completed in August 2018. Symphony continues to operate as a thriving clinic, offering its guests a unique and luxurious experience.

Extensive market research was conducted to ensure Symphony would provide a mood-lifting experience for its guests. The design subverts the traditional dullness often associated with clinics, embracing a gorgeous freshness as its guiding principle.

Creating Symphony presented its fair share of challenges. The designers aimed to strike a delicate balance between the magical and the realistic, catering to people's desire to maintain their appearance while acknowledging the passage of time. Light, color, and materials were carefully selected to maintain a fresh and gorgeous look throughout the space.

Concerning the modern medical clinic space, Symphony takes into account the local people's psychology and their desire for a space that caters to their face and body care needs. The clinic exudes both comfort and style, with hidden waiting areas and medical spaces. The mysterious corridor, brought to life through the interplay of light and materials, adds an element of intrigue to the overall experience. The consultation space, designed to be intimate and reassuring, resembles a stylish home.

Symphony has garnered recognition for its exceptional design. In 2019, it was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious accolade is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate outstanding creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life through the integration of art, science, design, and technology.
